Job Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Part-time Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing preventative and therapeutic dental care to patients and educating them on proper oral hygiene techniques.
Responsibilities:
Perform dental cleanings and screenings to identify oral health issues
Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care
Take dental x-rays
Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories as needed
Ensure a clean and sterile environment in the dental office
Minimum Requirements:
Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
Current state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Experience with dental software and digital x-rays preferred
This position is open to becoming a full time position.
