Thursday 7:45-4
Fri 7:45-12 once a month if interested, as needed

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, FMD and root planing.
- Perform oral health assessments and take dental X-rays.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and nutrition.
- Assist the team during downtime by preparing/stocking the treatment area, sterilizing instruments, and maintaining proper infection control protocols.
- Administer local anesthesia and apply dental sealants as directed by the dentist.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic dental records.
- Conduct preliminary examinations and update patients' medical history and perio chart.
- Collaborate with the dental team to create treatment plans and follow-up care.
Requirements:
- Valid Dental Hygienist license or certification in PA.
- Completion of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
- Proficient in performing dental cleanings, taking X-rays, and providing patient education.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, oral diseases, and preventive dental care.
- Familiarity with Dentrix software and electronic health records.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
