Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including oral cancer screenings, x-rays, and diagnostic assessments, to identify dental and oral health issues.
Develop and present customized treatment plans based on patientsâ individual needs, ensuring clear and effective communication about the treatment process, benefits, and importance of compliance.
Educate patients on oral health conditions, preventive measures, and the long-term benefits of completing their treatment plans, ensuring full understanding and treatment acceptance.
Provide a wide range of dental procedures, including but not limited to:
Fillings, Extractions, Root Canals, Crowns, Bridges, Implants, Invisalign, and Cosmetic Dentistry.
Cerec Crown Milling for same-day crown creation and restorations.
Proactively encourage patient follow-through by clearly explaining the consequences of untreated dental conditions, reinforcing the value of consistent dental care.
Maintain accurate patient records in full compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate closely with the dental team, including hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff, to deliver seamless and effective patient care.
Stay current with the latest advancements in dental technology, treatments, and clinical best practices to consistently provide high-quality care.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven expertise in comprehensive dental care, including oral surgery procedures such as extractions, root canals, dental implants, and restorative treatments.
Strong ability to diagnose and explain oral health conditions, ensuring patients have a full understanding of their treatment needs.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with patients and encourage compliance with treatment plans to optimize health outcomes.
Solid knowledge of medical and dental terminology, ensuring clear and confident patient education.
Experience with infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and ensuring the highest level of patient safety.
In-depth understanding of HIPAA regulations and proper patient record management.
Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software.
Ability to work effectively with advanced dental technologies, including:
iTero Scans for accurate dental impressions and alignments.
CBCT Systems for 3D imaging and comprehensive diagnostic accuracy.
Prime Scan for same-day crown design and creation.
Cerec Crown Milling for in-house restorations.
Familiarity with medical coding and insurance billing processes to ensure accurate documentation and billing.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a busy, patient-centered dental practice focused on preventive, restorative, and cosmetic care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build trust, explain complex dental conditions in simple terms, and encourage patient compliance.
Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team to deliver seamless patient care.
Strong focus on preventive care, patient education, and long-term oral health outcomes.
