Patient Care - Conduct thorough hygiene duties.- Perform oral examinations to identify signs of disease or abnormalities.- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care.
Diagnostic & Clinical Care
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Oryx- Take all dental radiographs ( x-rays ) that are necessary for patient care.- Assist the dentist with various procedures and treatments.-Document and maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
Patient Communication
- Provide clear and concise information to patients regarding their oral health and treatment options.
- Address patient concerns and answer questions related to dental hygiene practices.
- Ensure a comfortable and positive experience for patients during their visit.
Education: Associateâs degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
Licensure: Valid state license to practice dental hygiene.
Experience: Previous experience in a dental hygiene role preferred but not required.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Certifications: CPR certification; additional certifications (e.g., local anesthesia) may be required or preferred.
Qualifications- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation- Experience with patient care and medical records management- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team- Knowledge of Oryx software is a plus

Pay: From $38.00 per hour
