Job Description
Part-time Hygienist Lenker Dental is a small family friendly dental practice located in Paoli, PA. We are looking for a Part-time Dental Hygienist for 1 day per week (Monday) with the ability to expand to 36 hours per week M-Th later this spring. Duties revolve around conducting initial patient screenings, completing prophylaxis cleanings, and advising patients on oral health and preventative care. We work as a team and love to collaborate with our hygienist to achieve optimal outcomes for our patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you should be reliable and able to build trust with patients of all ages. You should have deep knowledge of relevant health and safety rules and a good eye for oral diseases and anomalies. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is kind, caring, and attentive to details to join our team.
Responsibilities
Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible during their examination and cleaning.
Knowledge of Dentrix Dental software
Sterilize dental instruments properly.
Conduct initial mouth screenings and check medical health history.
Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis.
Clean and help protect patientsâ teeth, remove plaque, apply fluoride if necessary.
Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care by demonstrating good flossing and brushing techniques.
Take X-rays
Maintain documentation and charts on each patient.

Skills
Proven experience as Dental Hygienist
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession, HIPAA
Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment.
Outstanding communication skills
A friendly and patient personality
Attention to detail.
Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job.
Diploma in Dental Hygiene
Valid license to practice

Pay: $46.00 - $55.00 per hour
