The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to promote oral health and educate patients on proper dental care.
Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures to maintain optimal oral health.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, dietary recommendations, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures and provide care tailored to younger patients.
Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile work environment.
Utilize dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for patient management and record keeping.
Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
Strong knowledge of patient assessment techniques and infection control standards.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA compliance is essential.
Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
