Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team part-time in providing exceptional patient care within our dental clinic. This role involves working closely with patients to perform assessments, cleanings, and education on oral hygiene practices.
Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and documenting vital signs.
Perform dental cleanings and preventive procedures while adhering to aseptic techniques.
Assist in the examination process by providing support to the dentist during procedures.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Review documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with clinic protocols.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and care quality, particularly in pediatrics and general dentistry settings.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sterilized.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, with a focus on patient care and assisting in general dentistry procedures.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus, as well as experience in performing patient assessments and documentation review.
Strong communication skills are essential for effectively educating patients about their oral health needs.
