Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental assessments, and assisting in the overall management of patient oral health.
Duties
Conduct thorough patient assessments and record medical histories.
Perform dental cleanings and scaling procedures using appropriate aseptic techniques.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software, including medical coding for procedures performed.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Experience
Previous experience in a dental hygienist.
Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is essential.
Experience with medical imaging techniques is a plus.
Strong skills in patient care, assessment, and infection control practices are required.
Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is advantageous.
