Overview:
ReGenesis Health Care is seeking an enthusiastic Dental Hygienist with excellent patient-care skills and a great attitude to join our well-established and growing practice in Spartanburg, SC.
ReGenesis Health Care is a non-profit FQHC focusing on improving access to quality care that is affordable and meets the health needs of our patients. This position also allows the opportunity for community involvement and engagement, in addition to traditional in-clinic patient care. We have a growing school-based oral health program as well as a Medical-Dental Integration program allowing our hygienists to care for our patients outside of the traditional clinic setting. Excellent salary up to $45.00 an hour with excellent full-time benefits. $4,000 sign-on bonus and quarterly incentive. On-the-job training and professional development opportunities are provided!
Youâll be a great fit if:
You have experience assessing patientsâ oral health, including;
using screening tools.
reviewing medical and dental history.
completing dental and periodontal charting.
You are confident in delivering direct patient care, including;
taking diagnostic dental radiographs.
removing plaque, calculus and staining from teeth.
polishing teeth.
applying sealants and fluoride.
You can effectively communicate oral hygiene instructions and educate patients on the importance of daily home care and dental treatment.
You can read, write, and maintain patient records and documentation using computer systems and dental software.
You have experience maintaining standards of dental infection control.
You can help patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment.
You can interact positively with a diverse patient population, of all ages, backgrounds, and personalities.
You are a team player.
To be Considered, Youâll Need:
Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
Current, unrestricted license to practice in the State of South Carolina.
Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR.
Required Continuing Education hours to maintain licensure and desire to stay abreast of advances in the field of dentistry, especially in areas related to the scope of dental hygiene practice.
At least 2 yearsâ experience in clinical setting as dental hygienist, preferred
