Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental hygiene care, including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and patient education.
Take and interpret digital radiographs and intraoral images as needed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop personalized treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Ensure sterilization and cleanliness of instruments and operatory following OSHA standards.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene techniques and technology through continuing education.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
Licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) in the state of Delaware.
Strong clinical skills with proficiency in periodontal therapy and oral health education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused mindset.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
CPR/BLS certification is required.
Experience with Eaglesoft is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $45.00 - $48.00 per hour
Expected hours: 23 – 26 per week
