Key Responsibilities
Travel Between Offices: Assist orthodontic providers across multiple locations to ensure seamless patient care.
Treatment Preparation: Set up treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials before procedures.
Orthodontic Procedures Assistance: Support providers with placing and removing brackets, wire adjustments, taking impressions, and other orthodontic treatments.
Patient Education: Guide patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and post-treatment instructions.
Record Management: Accurately maintain and update patient records using dental software.
Infection Control: Sterilize instruments, follow strict infection control protocols, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
Patient Care: Build positive relationships with patients and their families while delivering a comforting and professional experience.
Skills and Qualifications
Dental Software Expertise: Proficient in tools like Denticon for managing patient records (weâll train you if needed).
Orthodontic Knowledge: Strong understanding of dental terminology and orthodontic procedures, including endodontics and anatomy (training available).
X-Ray Certification: Skilled in performing X-ray imaging safely and effectively (preferred, but we can assist with certification).
Aseptic Techniques: In-depth knowledge of infection control and aseptic practices to ensure patient safety (training provided).
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work with diverse teams and patients.
Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
