Licensed Dental Assistant - Owatonna Endodontics - Owatonna, MN

A specialty endodontics office is looking for a motivated dental assistant who will help us deliver exceptional care. This position is Tuesday-Friday and typically 7:30-4:30. The patient experience is paramount to our practice so we are looking for an assistant who is compassionate and is eager to make patients comfy and relaxed. The desired applicant will be well-organized and have great attention to detail.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Welcome patients to the dental office/operatory
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the endodontist in performing root canals and apical surgeries
Taking digital radiographs and 3d images
Provide post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental operatories clean and well-stocked
Check supply inventory and order supplies
Maintain accurate patient records
Occasionally assisting the front desk
Making post-operative calls to evaluate patient well-being

Skills

LDA/RDA certification required
X-ray certification required
Experience not required
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
