Dental Assistant - Smile Team - Philadelphia, PA

We are a growing Center City, Olney, Upper Darby, Northeast, and Southeast Philadelphia dental practice that is looking for an experienced full-time Dental Assistant to help our community with their oral care needs.
Our Center City office is in a beautiful, centrally-located building with amazing views of Love Park. Our Northeast office is located near Bustleton Ave and Welsh Rd. We also have three newly opened locations in Olney next to Einstein hospital, in Upper Darby near the intersection of Marshall Rd and Long Lane, and off of South 12th St walking distance from Broad Street line. All offices are modern with all of the latest technology. Candidate must be available to travel between 2 or more offices.
Some of the details and tasks of an assistant can be found below:

Must have a friendly disposition and be willing to embrace a team atmosphere
Be fully trained to assist the Doctor on all dental procedures
Seat patients in the chair as soon as possible
Have X-ray certification or are willing to become certified in Pennsylvania
Educate patients on all procedures to be done
Stock operatories and help other assistants keep rooms stocked
Chart thoroughly all procedures done and document thoroughly what was said to the patient
Complete lab work on time (bleaching trays and study models)
Complete treatment plans and give to check-out for financial arrangements and presenting of treatment plans
Turn all equipment on at beginning of each day and off when day is done
Keep work areas neat and organized to include checking and changing traps
