Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with dentists to ensure optimal patient outcomes and contribute to a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments to maintain patients' oral health.
Utilize dental terminology effectively while communicating with patients and staff.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.
Assist in the diagnosis of oral diseases by examining patients' gums and teeth, taking X-rays, and documenting findings.
Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental software, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment during procedures.
Stay informed about advancements in general dentistry practices and incorporate them into patient care.

Experience

A degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program is required.
Previous experience in a dental practice is mandatory
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort are necessary for success in this role.
