Opportunity for a full-time/part-time Dental Hygienist to join our team and treat our patients with care, integrity and customer service. Our private practice has been serving this area of Austin with exceptional dentistry for many decades and our easy-going patients love our laid back and friendly atmosphere. Competitive Hourly Rate up to $55/hr depending on experience
Full-time: 8-5 M-Thurs w/ Optional Friday (flexible hours) - 1 hr lunch
Part-time: 8-5 flexible w /days as long as they are consistent week to week.

Responsibilities

Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
Sterilize dental instruments properly
Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis.
Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques.
Take X-rays.
Maintain documentation and charts on each patient

Skills

Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role (1+ years)
Experience using Dentrix is a plus
Outstanding communication skills
A patient and friendly personality
Attention to detail
Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job
Diploma in Dental Hygiene
Valid RDH license to practice

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
