Job Description
Gingrich Dental is a multi-generational, family-owned dental practice in Big Rapids, Michigan. Our office is looking for an RDH to join our Gingrich Dental team. In this office, the dentist and the dental hygienist work together to meet the oral health needs of patients and strive for a patient relationship well beyond their smile. This position is Tuesday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with alternating Mondays and Fridays. We provide comfortably paced scheduling options and a one-hour lunch break, as well as weekends and holidays off. Some of the services an RDH in our office would provide may include:
*Patient screening procedures; such as assessment of oral health conditions, review of the patient's health history, oral cancer screening and dental charting.
*Taking and processing dental radiographs.
*Removing calculus and plaque from all surfaces of the teeth and application of preventative materials such as sealants and fluorides.
*Educating patients on appropriate oral hygiene procedures.
