Job Description
Job OverviewAn RDH will provide preventative dental care to PRHS patients and to plan and implement programs with the Dentist. Requires a comprehensive knowledge of oral hygiene care in outpatient settings. Knowledge of the principles and practice of child and adult dental hygiene and periodontal procedures is necessary. Must have a Registered Dental Hygienist License. Location is at XL Clinic in Alturas.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to maintain oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist dentists during procedures by providing necessary tools and support.
Document patient treatments and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Qualifications
Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license
Strong knowledge of dental hygiene practices and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to educate patients on oral health and hygiene
Experience with dental software and patient management systems
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $50.52 - $69.21 per hour
