OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for patient assessments, executing preventive dental procedures, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices. Your expertise in general dentistry and familiarity with dental terminology will be essential in delivering quality care.
Responsibilities
Help conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate oral health status and identify any potential issues.
Perform routine dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth, while ensuring patient comfort.
Review documentation and actively participate in the development and maintenance of accurate patient records in compliance with clinic protocols.
Provide education to patients regarding oral hygiene practices, dietary recommendations, and preventive care.
Utilize appropriate dental coding for accurate billing and insurance processing related to dental services.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in ongoing professional development as arranged by our office
Experience
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting is preferred.
Familiarity with imaging techniques and equipment used in dentistry.
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures related to general dentistry.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
