We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Treatment Coordinator with a background in Orthodontic billing to join our dedicated pediatric office. Patient Consultations: Conduct initial consultations with new patients, explaining treatment options, procedures, and financial plans.
Treatment Planning: Work closely with the orthodontist to develop and present customized treatment plans that meet patients’ needs and goals.
Financial Coordination: Discuss financial arrangements with patients, including payment plans, insurance coverage, and financing options.
Patient Education: Provide patients and their families with detailed information about restorative, orthodontic treatments, oral hygiene, and post-treatment care.
Appointment Management: Schedule and manage patient appointments to ensure timely and efficient treatment progress.
Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment plans, and financial documentation.
Follow-Up: Ensure patients adhere to their treatment schedules and follow up with them to monitor progress and address any concerns.
Insurance Processing: Assist our Revenue Cycle Management team with insurance claims and pre-authorizations, ensuring maximum benefits are received.
Patient Relationships: Build and maintain positive relationships with patients and their families, providing support and encouragement throughout their orthodontic journey.
Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator or in a similar role within an orthodontic practice. (REQUIRED)
Knowledge: Strong understanding of orthodontic procedures, treatment planning, and financial coordination. (REQUIRED)
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and compassionately.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, professional demeanor with a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in dental practice management software and digital record-keeping.
Insurance Knowledge: Familiarity with dental insurance plans and claims processing.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with the orthodontic team to ensure seamless patient care.
