Responsibilities
As a Dental Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Preparing patients for treatment by taking appropriate medical histories and explaining procedures.
- Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment to maintain infection control standards.
- Taking and developing X-rays as required by the dentist.
- Preparing and organizing treatment rooms with necessary materials and equipment.
- Educating patients on oral hygiene, aftercare instructions, and preventive dental care.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and updating them as needed.
- Assisting with scheduling and coordinating appointments.
- Providing excellent patient care and ensuring a comfortable experience for each individual.
- Managing inventory and ensuring dental supplies are adequately stocked.
- Supporting office management tasks as needed.
