Responsibilities

As a Dental Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Preparing patients for treatment by taking appropriate medical histories and explaining procedures.
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment to maintain infection control standards.
• Taking and developing X-rays as required by the dentist.
• Preparing and organizing treatment rooms with necessary materials and equipment.
• Educating patients on oral hygiene, aftercare instructions, and preventive dental care.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and updating them as needed.
• Assisting with scheduling and coordinating appointments.
• Providing excellent patient care and ensuring a comfortable experience for each individual.
• Managing inventory and ensuring dental supplies are adequately stocked.
• Supporting office management tasks as needed.
