Dental Support Specialist - Envisia Lifestyle Dentistry - Bellingham, WA

Envisia Lifestyle Dentistry is seeking a part time dental support specialist! We are a small, but busy privately owned office located in the heart of Bellingham on Squalicum Parkway. Our office hours are Monday-Thursday, 7am-2pm!
We are seeking a reliable new team member to join our close-knit office family! An individual that has experience in assisting in hygiene along with having the ability to work closely chairside with our dentist is highly desirable! With the ability of having a 3-day work week as a schedule allows for the flexibility of being able to gain knowledge in the dental field while having the ability to have personal time outside of the workplace. This would be a fantastic opportunity for an individual attending school or just someone who's seeking part time work!
The preferred candidate will assist our hygienist on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for accelerated double hygiene and will be assisting the doctor chairside with restorative appointments on Thursdays.
Applicants must be able to adapt in a dynamic and FAST-PACED environment. We are hiring for 3 days/per week currently. Hourly pay rate is DOE. JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Exceptionally reliable, dependable and accountableCertified or Registered Dental Assistant is required

Excellent customer service skills
Thrives in a fast-paced environment
Capable to anticipate and work at a steady rate
High attention to detail
Ability to work independently, as well as be a strong team member

Duties and Responsibilities:

Knowledgeable in Dentrix/Dexis Dental Software is a plus!
Maintain a sterile environment and dental instruments
Fluent in dental terminology
Maintain punctuality with patients throughout the day
Develop rapport with all patients
Must know how to take x-rays, pano, CBCT scans
i-Tero Knowledge is a plus!
Microsoft Office Knowledge
Greeting patients/answering phones

Certified Dental Assistants, Dental Assisting Students or experience in Healthcare, highly preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
