Job Description

OverviewWe are seeking a reliable Dental Assistant to join our dynamic endodontic practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during endodontic procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30-5:00pm. We occasionally work through lunch and /or stay late.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
Take X-rays and CBCT scans as required, adhering to safety protocols.
Utilize dental software such as TDO patient records management.
Maintain infection control standards by sterilizing instruments and managing waste disposal.

Requirements

At least 1 year experience as a Dental Assistant and have your RDA license.
Familiarity with dental terminology.
CPR certified.
Experience with X-Ray procedures and equipment is required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
