Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our small but dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our dental team in various procedures. This position requires a proactive individual who is committed to ensuring a positive experience for our patients.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, including but not limited to prosthodontics, restorative, endodontics, etc.
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
Prepare and organize dental instruments, equipment, and materials for patient appointments.
Take and process X-rays as needed.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Take vital signs and assist in patient assessments as needed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is required.
DA II is preferred.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the dental team are essential.
A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of dentistry is highly valued.
