We are looking for a dentist to start at 2 days a week, with an opportunity for more days in the future.
Responsibilities:- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning- Administer anesthetics and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals- Provide preventive dental care including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and proper dental care- Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other staff members to ensure efficient and effective patient care- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using dental software systems such as Dentrix, Epic, or Eaglesoft- Stay informed about advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities
Skills:- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and equipment- Excellent clinical skills with the ability to perform a wide range of dental treatments- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix, Epic, or Eaglesoft- Ability to work well with patients of all ages, including children (experience in pediatrics is a plus)- Strong communication skills to effectively explain treatment plans and educate patients on oral health- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records
