Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and x-ray certified Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and dental hygienists by taking x-rays, preparing treatment rooms, and assisting with patient care. Your attention to detail and passion for delivering outstanding patient experiences will make you an essential member of our dental practice. You MUST be familiar with taking impressions, x-rays, crown/bridge procedures, most aspects of cosmetic dentistry and implant dentistry and be motivated to continue learning.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before procedures.
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
Greet and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring their comfort.
Take dental X-rays.
Provide post-operative instructions and education to patients.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Adhere to infection control and OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications:
X-ray certification is mandatory.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous dental assisting experience preferred.
Knowledge of dental instruments and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
CPR certification is a plus.
