Welcome to Live Oak Pediatric Dentistry! We are searching for an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant to join our rapidly growing pediatric dental office! We are ready to hire the right person immediately! This is a great opportunity to be a part of a new, modern and FUN practice with state-of-the-art technology and an amazing work environment. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate with parents, provide encouragement to our pediatric patients, and be a great team player! Experience working in a pediatric setting is preferred.
Office hours are typically Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00-5:00pm.
Commitment to working Monday, Wednesdays and Thursdays is needed!

Dental Assistant Responsibilities:
· Excellent customer service
· Assist the dentist with dental procedures and behavior management
· Dental cleanings/prophys, impressions, and radiographs
· Sterilization lab duties
· Assist with treatment under sedation or general anesthesia
· Assist with treatment of patients with special health care needs
· Maintain patient records and treatment plans
· Provide dental education to patients and their family members
Certifications Necessary:
· Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA)
· Basic Life Support (BLS)
· Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (Preferred, not required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
