Job Description:
We are seeking a confident, reliable and enthusiastic Expanded Duty Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is skilled, detail-oriented and passionate about providing outstanding patient care. Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
Perform expanded duties as permitted by state law, such as taking intraoral scans or impressions and placing restorations.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment.
Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures.
Take digital dental X-rays.
Maintain accurate digital patient records and charts.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
Contribute to a positive team environment by being proactive and collaborative.
Qualifications:
Certification as an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant in Kentucky.
Radiography certification.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
Experience with dental software (preferred but not required).
