Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced candidate to be part of a growing private dental practice Pena Adobe Dental Care located in Vacaville, California. We are looking for the right team player to complement our existing team members and patients. Our office is focused on providing a superior patient experience from beginning to end.
Our working hours are Monday-Wednesday from 7:40am-5pm and Thursday from 7:40am-4pm, with the occasional pre-scheduled Friday. We take a full hour lunch break, we offer paid holidays, provide health insurance and 401K for our employees. Paid vacation is available after 1 year of employment with our practice. We have a fun, fast-paced office atmosphere where patient care and quality dentistry is the top priority.
Our office is fully digital, with advanced technology such as CBCT imaging, intra-oral scanning using Trios and iTero, 3D printing and more. Experience with intra-oral scanning is a must.
The Registered Dental Assistant will be responsible for chairside assisting including but not limited to:

The setup and breakdown of all general restorative procedures
Assisting the doctor chairside and anticipating the doctor's needs
Developing and maintaining a professional relationship with patients
Creating and sending out lab cases per our office's protocols
Ensuring setups are complete and sterilized prior to scheduled procedures.
Sterilization of instruments and equipment
Taking digital x-rays
Taking digital scans for crown/bridge cases, Invisalign, study models, and more
Keeping the back office organized
Treatment planning based off of the dentist's diagnosis under the direction of the dentist.

Some procedures you should have experience with are composite restorations, crown and bridge preparation (including fabrication and cementation of provisional restorations), cosmetic dentistry (veneer cases, full mouth rehabilitation), implants, surgical extractions, and more. Our office offers a large variety of types of procedures, including some advanced oral surgery procedures. Comfort with assisting in oral surgery is necessary. The ideal RDA candidate has a minimum of 2 years of experience.
The pay range is DOE.
