Job Description
Makram Dental in Middleburg Heights is searching for a full-time Dental Assistant.
Starting Wage: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

This individual must be a friendly, professional wanting to join our family-oriented practice. This position may include front office responsibilities as well. Experience in the dental field is preferred. We are looking for an individual that meets the quality patient experience our office provides!
Responsibilities include (but not limited to)
Create positive impressions while being friendly, welcoming, outgoing, caring, and passionate about helping and serving our Patients
Great communication skills
High attention to detail
Navigate websites, upload documents, scheduling, and input patient data
Chairside assisting
Four-Handed Dentistry
X-Ray Certification
Digital Dentistry
Assist during a variety of treatment procedures
Take dental X-rays
Executes patient handoffs and monitors patient flow within the practice
Manage infection control â prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health
Perform quality impressions and bite registrations
Perform digital intraoral scans
Supports patient charting for Doctors
Perform various office tasks as necessary
Collaborate with practice team to ensure optimum patient satisfaction
Qualifications:
High school or GED
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task
Basic computer skills
Team player mentality
Dental Assistant experience is preferred
X-Ray certification is preferred
Have your license, registration, or permit as required by state requirements
We are willing to onboard and train the right person that loves helping and working with people. We're looking for the right personality fit, one that exudes positivity. Hands-on training alongside current experienced team members will provide an excellent foundation for a successful transition into our well established, patient-focused office.
Hours will range from 30 to 34 hours per week and are flexible based on the needs of the office.
Our current office hours are:
Monday: 8am - 6pm
Tuesday: 8am - 3pm
Wednesday: 8am - 3pm
Thursday: 8am - 6pm
No Fridays or Weekends
