Job Description
We are in need of a temporary hygienist for two weeks while we interview. If you are looking for full time it is an opportunity for you to see if you would be a good fit if you are interested in full time.
Weâre hiring a dental hygienist who can help us provide incredible dental care to each of our patients! Youâll conduct preliminary dental exams, help dentists with examinations and procedures, and perform thorough dental cleanings so patients walk out with a smile. This role is perfect for someone who loves to care for people and is highly attuned to detail. $41 hour Responsibilities:
Put patients at ease by talking with them before, during, and after the appointment
Make impressions of patientsâ teeth to ensure their mouthguards, dentures, etc. are made correctly
Examine patientsâ dental health and get an overview of their oral health history
Take x-ray images of the patientsâ teeth to help dentists identify any oral health issues like cavities
Provide post-operative health education to patients so they can take practice good dental care at home after procedures
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and customer service skills
At least 1-2 years of experience in dental hygiene
In-depth knowledge of dental safety regulations and HIPAA regulations
Capable of standing all day to assist patients
Licensed to practice as a dental hygienist in the state
