Job Description
We are looking for a part-time dental hygienist at Kaufman Dental in Wexford, PA. All applicants are welcome.
We have been named Best Dental Office in TribLive two years in a row. Our office has a friendly, professional atmosphere with an enjoyable work environment. We are looking for applicants who can work well as part of a team and engage in patient-centric dentistry, and our office focuses on providing you with adequate time and resources.
Our patients are primarily adults ages 25+, and most of our hygiene appointments are for routine adult prophylaxis/exams/x-rays. Limited active periodontal patients.

Expected job responsibilities would include:
Patient screening of systemic and oral health histories and conditions
Capturing digital dental radiographs (x-rays)
Ensuring of patient comfort and in-office experience
Patient education on oral hygiene, nutrition, and other dental care
Evaluate and conduct adequate dental hygiene treatments in coordination with dentist
Evaluation of emergent conditions and appropriate response as needed
Infection control, sanitization, and sterilization of office and equipment
Caring, sincere, and approachable demeanor with patients
Work schedule is Fridays, 7:30 am to 1:00 pm
Pay starting at $34/hr.
