Job Description

Progressive dental office is looking for a full-time Dental Assistant/RDA to join our private practice in Pacific Beach. The ideal teammate will have a positive attitude and a curiosity for dental knowledge. Is your current office outdated, you don't feel appreciated, or are you ready for a change? Come check us out!
Technologies utilized in our office include Eaglesoft management software, CEREC same day indirect restorations, Solea anesthetic-free laser dentistry, Invisalign, DigiDoc intraoral photography, and Schick digital x-ray radiographs. We are primarily Fee for Service/PPO (no HMO, DMO or DentiCal) and focus on patient education and providing a valuable experience in our office.
RDA certification is not required, but must have verifiable x-ray certification, coronal polishing, and CPR (must be current in California if coming from another state). Priority will be given to candidates with experience designing and characterizing CEREC restorations and those cross-trained with front office duties.
We're located close to the 5 freeway on the eastern side of Pacific Beach. We work an alternate week work schedule of four 9 -10 hour days instead of five 8 hour days, so you’ll always have off Friday through Sunday. Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during procedures by providing chairside support and ensuring a sterile environment.
Utilize Eaglesoft for patient management and record-keeping.
Perform dental radiography and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Prepare and organize dental instruments and materials for various treatments.
Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene practices.
Monitor patient comfort and vital signs during procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
