Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic individual to join our team as a Receptionist and Insurance Coordinator. The ideal applicant will be enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced dental office, comfortable discussing treatment plans and finances, and possess strong communication and organizational skills. We welcome applicants who are willing to learn, and are open to training the right candidate for this position.
Key Responsibilities
· Answer phone calls in a professional, courteous manner and demonstrate excellent phone conversation skills.
· Discuss dental treatment plans and finances confidently with patients.
· Manage patient appointmentsâcollect information and schedule visits efficiently.
· Utilize Eaglesoft practice management software for daily tasks.
· Process patient payments accurately and efficiently.
· Contact insurance companies to verify benefits in detail.
· Prepare and submit insurance claims promptly.
· Maintain an in-depth knowledge of dental insurance policies and procedures.
· Order front office materials and supplies as needed.
· Foster a courteous and professional atmosphere for patients and staff.
Qualifications
· Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
· Comfortable discussing dental procedures, treatment plans, and financial information with patients.
· In depth experience with dental insurance.
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Proficient in computer use; prior experience with Eaglesoft software is a plus.
· Previous experience as a Dental receptionist.
· Demonstrated professionalism and ability to work effectively with both patients and staff.
Work Schedule
· Available to work from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
· Available for a half day on Wednesday.
