Job Description
Advance Dental is looking for an enthusiastic receptionist / patient care coordinator to join our team. This role will be a key member of our practice and has the potential to be promoted to office manager in future.
The responsibilities for this role will include:
Maintain a high level of customer service at all times
Work as part of a team with emphasis on communication
Schedule patient appointments in accordance with monthly and daily patient goals
Answer phones and confirm appointments
Greet and check in patients
Accurately verify dental benefits
Maintain detailed patient records in a fast-paced environment
Collect payments, co-payments and deductibles
Create insurance claims and submit pre-authorizations to insurance companies on a timely basis
Pull patient charts for future appointments when necessary
Maintain a clean and professional office environment
Assist with presenting and/or explaining treatment plans*
Qualifications
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Knowledge of Dentrix Software is required.
Customer service focused.
3+ Yearsâ experience as front desk / office manager / receptionist at dental practice is required.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
