Our Front Office Administrator position will work closely with our front office team, and have a primary focus of communicating with patients, providing 5-star customer service, helping to manage a busy multi-provider schedule, collecting payments from patients, and doing whatever is needed to help support our team and our patients.
Our ideal candidate will have a very friendly and outgoing demeanor, an excellent work ethic, and have strong multitasking and organizational skills. This candidate must also be an excellent team player who is supportive of his/her co-workers and is always willing to help out with whatever is needed.
Typical duties include:
Provide a warm and happy welcome to patients when they arrive for their appointments.
Answer and manage incoming patient phone calls in a friendly and professional manner.
Schedule patient appointments.
Make outgoing calls to overdue patients.
Import documents into practice management software.
Coordinate patient referrals and email documentation/xrays as needed.
Collect copays and balances from patients at checkout.
Ensure that the reception area is clean and tidy.
General office duties.
Requirements:

Has a natural desire to provide great customer service to others.
Strong ability to multitask and stay organized amongst disruptions.
Excellent attention to details and accuracy.
Previous experience working in a dental office is strongly preferred, but not required.
Desire to learn and grow professionally
Maintain daily operations by following protocols and policies
Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and patient privacy
Comfortable learning to use our dental practice management software (Open Dental)
The hours for this position are as follows: Some flexibility may be possible with the starting time.
Monday 8-5,
Tuesday 7:30-4
Wednesday 7:30-5
Thursday 7:30-4
