Job Description
DentFirst has an immediate need for Full-Time registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at our Lithonia/Stonecrest location. This position offers competitive hourly, or commission pay structure in a fast paced and fun environment! Come find your new home with us!
Schedule:
Full-Time
M â F (8-hour shift) â For Full Time
Weekend availability
Duties and Responsibilities:
Gather patient information and health background
Take x-rays when necessary
Prepare the work area for procedures
Preparing and maintaining dental equipment
Clean and polish patientsâ teeth and gums
Educate patients on good oral hygiene habits
Update patient records
Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
Requirements and Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program
Current state license and X-Ray certification
Excellent understanding of dental hygiene procedures
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
General Supervision a plus
Bilingual a plus
Excellent communication skills
A patient and friendly personality
