Cross-Trained Dental Assistant (Front and Back Office)
We are a bustling family dental practice with two locations, seeking a versatile dental assistant proficient in both front and back-office operations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and excellent character. Fluency in both English and Spanish is highly desirable, and candidates fluent in both languages will be given priority consideration.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform front and back-office duties efficiently and effectively.
Assist with patient intake, scheduling, and billing.
Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments.
Take and develop dental X-rays (certification required).
Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
Provide exceptional customer service and patient care.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and patient satisfaction.

Requirements:

X-Ray certification is mandatory.
Proficiency in Open Dental and Dentrix software preferred.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, with a friendly demeanor.
Flexibility to work both full-time or part-time hours.
Prior experience in a dental office is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Candidates with more than a year of experience will be given preference.
