Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our local family dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workplace while providing the very best in patient care. Our number one goal is make our patients feel welcome, at ease and well-cared for. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures and the ability to assist the dentist effectively.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a sterile environment.
Take dental X-ray images as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary materials.
Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate with both patients and team members.
Use aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards in safe environment for both patients and staff
Assist in the management of patient records using Dentrix.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory. We are willing to train a motivated, dependable, and awesome applicant.
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is desireable.
Familiarity with Dentrix software is a helpful.
Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
