Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled EFDA to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office.
Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. Placement of restorations with quality care
Comfortable with assisting in sedations and monitoring nitrous procedures.
Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols.
Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring they are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain infection control protocols in accordance with industry standards.
Manage patient records using dental software
Schedule appointments and manage front desk responsibilities as needed, including answering phones and greeting patients.
Support pediatric dentistry procedures with a compassionate approach towards young patients.

Qualifications

Previous experience in dental assisting is required, however, EFDA licensure may be recently acquired.
Proficiency in taking X-rays and understanding of aseptic techniques.
Nitrous monitoring
Placement of sealants and composite resins efficiently and with quality
Coronal polishing
Familiarity with dental terminology and infection control practices is essential.
Ability to take and monitor vital signs
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is an advantage.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
Pay will be based on experience
