Job Description: We are seeking a Full-time Pediatric Dental Assistant to work on M-F. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the dentist during pediatric dental procedures, preparing and sterilizing instruments, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a positive experience for our young patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during a variety of pediatric dental procedures.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
Ensure the operatory is clean and well-stocked.
Take and develop X-rays as needed.
Provide post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Help manage patient flow and ensure a smooth experience for all patients.
Educate patients and parents about proper oral hygiene practices.
Support front office staff when needed.

Qualifications:

Dental Assistant certification.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred.
Familiarity with Denticon software is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
Ability to work well with children and make them feel comfortable.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
CPR certification is a plus.
