Position DescriptionA clinical assistant at Schieck Orthodontics is a motivated and compassionate professional who is responsible for aiding and supporting the orthodontist in achieving success in patient care. This person performs a variety of orthodontic clinical duties under the direction of Dr. Schieck, in order to achieve the best possible treatment outcome and comfort for the patient.
Our ideal candidate is someone with a âcan-doâ attitude, who is adaptable and quick to learn new skills and systems. Technology is a large focus of our practice, and comfort with computers is important. Clinical duties would include direct patient care, taking quality orthodontic records including photographs, the organization of supplies, assisting with inventory/ordering, sterilization and infection control, basic lab work and reports.
Additional duties would include, but not be limited to reception desk coverage and assistance to our front desk team when needed; entering transactions and utilizing computerized charting. Applicants must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and have the ability to perform all physical and verbal duties of the position.
This position can be a 3- or 4-day per week position based on candidates' needs. Salary is competitive and based on experience, with benefit package included.

Proficient with an electronic charting system.
