Job Description
We are a well established dental office in Quincy, MA, looking for a full/part time Registered Dental Hygienist to provide exceptional dental care through teamwork, innovation and a patient-first approach.
As a Dental Hygienist, you should be reliable and able to build trust with patients of all ages. This role also involves working closely with dental assistants to develop top-tier oral health services while improving patient flow and satisfaction. Responsibilities
Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
Sterilize dental instruments properly
Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
Clean and help protect patientsâ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride) including regular prophylaxis and scaling and root planing
Applying sealants when needed
Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
Take X-rays or dental impressions
Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer)
Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
Monitor supplies
Skills
Proven experience as Dental Hygienist
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
Outstanding communication skills
A patient and friendly personality
Attention to detail
Diploma in Dental Hygiene
Valid license to practice
Previous dental hygiene experience and experiences with digital radiographs will be highly regarded.

Pay: $54.00 - $65.00 per hour
