Job Description

Our state-of-the-art pediatric dental practice, located in Towson, MD, is currently interviewing and accepting applications to join our team. We are seeking a team player who enjoys working with children. Familiarity with Open Dental Software is beneficial.
Position: Certified Dental Assistant
Qualifications

CPR Certification
Certified Dental Assistant credential
Proficient in chairside assisting and dental terminology
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry
Ability to perform X-rays and manage pediatric dentistry tasks

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during procedures by providing chairside support and managing instruments.
Utilize dental terminology to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to aseptic techniques.
Perform X-rays and manage patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral health and assist in pediatric dentistry as needed.
Ensure all equipment is properly sanitized and ready for use.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on dental experience, execution of skills, and knowledge.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Schedule:

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
