Hours: 8:00-5:00 M-T, 8:00-5:00 Th-F. This is a great position for the right candidate who can fulfill the following.
Dental Assistant Job Requirements:

Must have at least 2 years of Dental Assistant experience and references
Must be neat, organized and energetic with strong work ethic
You will help the front desk manager and help the dentist with patients
Experience taking digital X-rays
Experience working with computer
Experience supporting dentist chair-side with examinations and patient treatments
Experience sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment
Experience preparing trays of instruments for dental procedures
Knowledge and experience instructing patients on postoperative and general oral health care
Good people skills, proactive, and energetic
Effective time management skills with the ability to multiplex activities
Current CPR card and HEP B vaccination

Dental Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:

Start day set up: Sterilization area, Operatory prep, X-ray machines, compressor & autoclave, computers
Manage preparation and sterilization of dental cassettes for all procedures
Maintain operatory readiness in advance of all procedures
Strict adherence to protocol and behavior during patient procedures
Proper maintenance of devices and machines: X-ray machines (OSHA compliance), high-speed hand pieces inspection
Switch to dental front and back office as needed during the day
Escorting patients from operatory to check-out counter
End of the day: Turn off machine shut down; operatory bag, ultrasonic machine emptying; ensure cleanliness of all working areas
