Clinical Responsibilities:
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting dental procedures and ensuring smooth operations. Responsibilities include:
Preparing and maintaining dental instruments, supplies, and equipment.
Managing patient care during dental procedures.
Assisting with instrument transfers and procedure isolation techniques.
Recording accurate dental charting.
Exposing and processing digital radiographs (X-Ray certification required).
Supporting dentists and staff with any additional tasks as needed.
Infection Control Responsibilities:
Adhering to OSHA infection control guidelines and maintaining office cleanliness.
Cleaning, sterilizing, and disinfecting instruments and equipment.
Ensuring proper sterilization area maintenance and cleanliness.
Education & Certifications Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
PA Radiation Certificate (X-Ray certification).
Graduate of a Dental Assisting program or completion of on-the-job training.
Required Background Checks:
Criminal History Record.
Child Abuse Clearance.
Federal Criminal History Record Information.
Work Environment:
This is an on-site position with no remote work options.
