Job SummaryWe are seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join our growing, cutting-edge, orthodontic team. The ideal candidate will be able to work in fast paced environment where quality care and attention to detail play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. Our practice offers patients a fully digital treatment experience with the use of Invisalign, LightForce custom braces, indirect bonding techniques, impression-free digital scans, remote monitoring and 3D radiology. In addition to orthodontic care, our practice offers smile rejuvenation through the use of whitening, botox and filler. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, aseptic techniques, and proficiency in using dental software systems. The Dental Assistant will: assist the doctor during procedures, work independently (RDA LICENSE REQUIRED), manage patient records, maintain a clean and organized work environment and provide exceptional customer service and hospitality to our patients.
Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments following aseptic techniques.
Take 2D and 3D X-rays as directed by the dentist.
Maintain accurate records and update patient information in Dolphin Management software system.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Operate 3D scanners for imaging as needed.
Ensure the dental clinic is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.
Manage inventory of dental supplies and assist in ordering when necessary.
Learn to use/monitor our patient in our remote monitoring system.

Requirements

Knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, and procedures related to orthodontic care.
Orthodontic experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person (salary is commensurate with experience).
Familiarity with Dolphin Management and Dolphin Imaging is highly desirable.
Ability to perform X-ray imaging safely and effectively (2D and 3D).
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while providing compassionate patient care.
Registered Dental Assisting license as well as validNJ x-ray license mandatory.

Pay: $24.00 - $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 38 per week
