Lead Dental Assistant - Complete Dental Arts - Stockbridge, GA

**Job Summary:** We are looking for a Lead Dental Assistant to join our team. The Lead Dental Assistant will assist the dentist with all clinical procedures, oversee and train other dental assistants, manage inventory, and ensure a smooth workflow in the dental office. Our offices: Complete Dental Arts (located 25 mins south of the Atlanta airport; Thomas Crossroads) and Fayette Dental Group (Fayetteville). ***No phone calls, walk-ins or emails please*** **Responsibilities:** 1. Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures. 2. Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays). 3. Manage inventory and order dental supplies. 4. Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures. 5. Ensure the dental office is clean, well-organized, and equipped with all necessary supplies. 6. Train and mentor other dental assistants. 7. Schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records. 8. Additional duties as assigned.
**Qualifications:** Have 10 years of work experience as a Dental Assistant or 7 years as a Dental Assistant 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Completion of an accredited dental assisting program. 3. X-ray certification. 4. Proven experience as a dental assistant. 5. Strong knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods. 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 7. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. 8. Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
