***This is a single-doctor, privately-owned general dentistry practice. I allow my hygienists to run a team-based program with 60-minute appointments. I am here to SUPPORT you while you support me! Please reach out to me/us so you can discuss the position with my current hygienist. My current hygienist plans to stay until the end of March 2025, at which time she will retire. ***The position is available starting in April 2025*** We have an opening for a Registered Dental Hygienist for our general dentistry office in Ann Arbor starting in April 2025 as we say “congratulations” to our team member who plans to retire. We are seeking an RDH for the full week (see schedule below). We are seeking a qualified and motivated full-time (about 29.5 clinical hours per week) RDH who is ready to help grow our practice as I begin to setline into two years of ownership with exciting opportunities for growth. We want someone who wants to inspire patients, be a good team player, and grow personally and professionally while having fun at work! We want to do good dentistry, be nice to people, and enjoy our time together as much as possible. Our practice is patient-centered with a multicultural patient pool. Spanish is the primary language of many of our patients, but almost all speak English. As such, fluency in Spanish is ideal, but certainly not required. We have an electronic translation device he would provide to you to facilitate basic conversations, and it works very well. Our practice thrives on multicultural, diverse relationships that enrich the lives of staff and patients alike. Experience is preferred, but not mandatory. We are ready to train new graduates, but we are also open to those with years of experience. Dental Hygienist Requirements and Qualifications:

Excellent understanding of dental hygiene procedures
Compassionate and caring with patients of ALL age groups
Compliant with infection control guidelines (we must be a clean facility)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to maintain a schedule with one-hour simple prophylaxis procedures (more time likely for complex procedures and new patients)
Complies with all office, local state, and American Dental Association regulations, protocols, and procedures
High school degree or equivalent
Two-year associate degree or four-year bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from a school accredited by Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) and American Dental Association
Licensed to practice in Michigan
X-Ray Certification: Meet all local and state requirements to operate radiography equipment
Understanding of standard practices and procedures within periodontics and general dentistry
Good interpersonal skills and communication
Certified in local anesthetic and Nitrous Oxide administration
Experienced with patient education and the use of educational materials
SCHEDULE Monday: CLOSED Tuesday: 8:30am - 5:30pm Wednesday: 8:30am - 7:00pm Thursday: 8:30am - 2:30pm Friday: 8:30am - 2:30pm **Note: we arrive at 8:00am for setup with an 8:15 huddle** Pay: From $42.00 per hour Experience:
