We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our fun and dynamic team at RH Dentistry of Memorial! We are a private FFS/PPO, start-up dental practice with a mission to educate and serve patients as well as have fun while doing it! The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, detail-oriented, interested in educating patients and learning about mouth-body connection, comprehensive dentistry, and possess excellent communication skills. As a dental assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice!
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Take (x-rays) and be comfortable with scanning (I.e. Itero)
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, airway, etc.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms
Schedule and confirm patient appointments
Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families
Perform various office tasks as needed to support the practice
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant program preferred
X-ray certification in TX is required
Minimum 3 years dental assisting experience
Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with Open dental software is preferred
