Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, along with the ability to assist in various aspects of general dentistry. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic, providing excellent patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques.
Take and record vital signs of patients as needed.
Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft for patient management and record keeping.
Operate 3D scanners for imaging and assist in endodontic procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic environment.
Support the dental team with administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental clinic setting.
Familiarity with dental terminology and general dentistry practices.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Experience with four-handed dentistry is preferred.
Proficiency in using dental software, particularly Eaglesoft, is an advantage.
Ability to take vital signs accurately and respond to patient needs compassionately.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting is preferred but not mandatory.
